Kosti village is situated 25 km south from the town of Tsarevo, 7 km from the main road Malko Turnovo – Tsarevo, and 91 km from the sea town of Burgas with its international airport and sea port.

Located in the picturesque valley of Veleka river, the village is surrounded by mountain hills all overgrown with centuries-old woods. The settlement is situated in the area where the popular Strandzha periwinkle grows. In the past it used to be a fire-dancing place.
